Police from across Auckland were called to help break up a massive brawl at Mission Bay this afternoon

Police from across Auckland were called to help break up a massive brawl at Mission Bay this afternoon

Witnesses say up to a hundred teenagers began fighting at about half past three.

Twenty-one police vehicles including three buses rushed to the scene from across the city.

Even after officers arrived, some of the group continued to throw punches.

Police say a number of people have been arrested for fighting in a public place, although they're unaware of any serious injuries.

The crowd has now dispersed, but officers are remaining in the area as a precaution.
