One lane has been closed in the Waterview Tunnel because of a vehicle breakdown

One lane has been closed in the Waterview Tunnel because of a vehicle breakdown

Police say they were called to the breakdown in a south-bound lane, about 100 to 200 metres from Waterview, about 4.30 this afternoon.

It's causing delays on the Northwestern Motorway.

The tunnel forms part of the Southwestern Motorway - the main route between central Auckland and the airport.
