Basketball New Zealand will wait to name the long-term Tall Blacks coach

Basketball New Zealand will wait to name the long-term Tall Blacks coach

BBNZ has announced they will name a short-term replacement next month, who will take the team through until the end of the Tokyo Olympics.

They also say the successful applicant likely to come from close to home and the current team environment.

Basketball New Zealand will then advertise more widely for a longer-term role, likely to be a contract that takes the team through the next four-year cycle.

Paul Henare left the post last month to take up a job in Japan.
