A woman accused of killing a young Christchurch mother in a 1995 cold case has been granted bail
21 November 2019
The 47-year-old is one of two people recently charged with murdering Angela Blackmoore.
It's more than 24 years since the pregnant 21-year-old was killed in Wainoni- her 2-year-old asleep in the next room.
The woman appeared at the High Court in Christchurch this morning - where she was bailed with strict conditions that she doesn't try to contact witnesses or her co-accused.
She sat quietly in court, shaking her head as she listened to the charges - and avoiding eye-contact with Blackmoore's family members in the back of the courtroom.
Her trial won't be heard until at least 2021.
