He's beaten German Jan-Lennard Struff 7-6, 4-6, 7-6, to give the Brits a 2-nil win.
Earlier Kyle Edmund defeated Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3,7-5.
They'll face either Argentina or Spain in the semis.
That tie has gone to the doubles.
