A silverware double and a handy pay cheque for Jon Rahm

A silverware double and a handy pay cheque for Jon Rahm

The Spanish golfer has won the World Tour Championship in Dubai to also claim the Race to Dubai title on the European Tour.

Rahm enjoyed a six-shot lead after seven holes of the final round but eventually had to birdie the 18th to complete a 68 and finish 19-under par, a shot ahead of England's Tommy Fleetwood.

The 25-year-old's double success earns him $5 million in total - $3 million for winning the World Tour Championship and $2 million for the Race to Dubai's top prize.
