    Skier Alice Robinson is poised to resume her rivalry with American Mikaela Shiffrin three weeks earlier than expected


    The 17-year-old will decide on the eve of Sunday's second World Cup race of the season whether to compete at Killington in Vermont.

    Robinson stunned the reigning Olympic champion with a win in the season opener in Austria last month, before an MRI scan revealed bone bruising on her knee.

    She expected to miss this weekend's race, but a second MRI scan in Colorado has given her the all clear to resume training.
