More than 3,500 people are infected with the disease, 48 have died and the numbers are projected to skyrocket.
One News Pacific Correspondent Barbara Dreaver says refusing to immunise is pro death.
She says people in Australia and New Zealand have pushed the anti-vax movement forward and Samoans have picked it up.
Ms Dreaver says she's never been so disgusted in her life.
