Schools will receive at least 50 thousand dollars to spend on their property - even if they have a small roll

Schools will receive at least 50 thousand dollars to spend on their property - even if they have a small roll

The Government's injecting 400 million dollars into upgrades of school property.

Schools will be given almost 700 dollars per student, capped at 400 thousand dollars - and no less than 50 thousand.

Education Minister Chris Hipkins says small schools are often the most run down, because fewer students means less operational funding to spend on maintenance work.
