Kiwi sailor Jason Saunders is eager to get on the water as the start of the Nacra 17 World Championships nears

Kiwi sailor Jason Saunders is eager to get on the water as the start of the Nacra 17 World Championships nears

Saunders will compete alongside Olivia Mackay, and will look to improve on their 13th place finish at last week's Oceania Championships.

Saunders says they're ready to get on the water and calm the nerves after a long buildup at home.

The Nacra 17, along with the 49er and 49erx worlds get underway tomorrow from Auckland's Royal Akarana Yacht Club.
