White Fern Sophie Devine has won her first player of the year crown in the women's Big Bash League

The allrounder secured the award after walloping a record 27 sixes for the Adelaide Strikers, the most in the men's or women's competitions.
She finished with a tournament-high 699 runs in 14 matches.
Devine joins White Ferns skipper Amy Satterthwaite as the Kiwis to win the award.
The semi-finals are this weekend.
