The Prime Minister's been confronted by a group of gun-owning protesters at an Auckland school

The Prime Minister's been confronted by a group of gun-owning protesters at an Auckland school

About 40 gun owners picketed outside Grey Lynn Primary School, which is opening a new build today.

The protest had been advertised on the Firearms Protest website, calling the gun buyback database breach unacceptable.

Group spokesperson Victoria O'Brien has told the Herald the Prime Minister needs to take responsibility.

Ardern's been welcomed to the school with a powhiri.
