    West Coast Civil Defence Emergency Management Group and Westland District Council are closely monitoringtroads and rivers with heavy rain continuing to batter the region


    SH6 Haast to Makarora is closed due to a large slip at Clarke Bluff, with the road likely to be blocked until at least late tomorrow.

    SH6 between Fox Glacier and Haast is also closed with a review expected tomorrow morning.
