There'll be a larger presence of furry friends on Auckland Metro train services from today

Dogs of all sizes will be able to travel on metro routes if wearing an appropriate muzzle and leash.
Previously, only dogs small enough to fit inside a carrier were allowed.
Metro Services group manager Stacey van der Putten says it's another step in making public transport more accessible.
Pets can only travel at off-peak times during the week, and all day weekends and public holidays.
