A2 Milk's Chief Executive Jayne Hrdlicka has resigned after only eighteen months on the job, causing a billion dollar loss in share value.
She claims it's due to unexpected travel demands that came with the role.
NZ Shareholder's Association Chief Executive Michael Midgley says he hopes it's not a "cash out" at the expense of the shareholders.
He says he'd be concerned if it turned out severance payments were made in these circumstances.
