The Wellington Phoenix have drawn nil all with the Melbourne Victory in their A-League football game.

There were 10 yellow cards in total and a red card for Melbourne's Kristijan Dobras mid way through the second half.

This extends the Phoenix to 5 games unbeaten, and they're fifth on the table after eight games

Dual Olympic bronze medalist Nick Willis reckons the amazing feats achieved by Sir Peter Snell may never be repeated.

Snell passed away in his Dallas home at the age of 80, leaving behind a storied career where he won three Olympic and two Commonwealth Games gold medals.

Snell is the only male to win the 800 and 1500 metre double at an Olympic Games since 1920, and still holds the New Zealand 800 metre record he set in 1962 of one minute 44.3 seconds.
