Road closures are set to continue to cause traffic problems throughout Wellington, as work continues to fix a broken pipe

The pipe collapsed on Friday in the CBD, and Wellington Water has had to let sewage overflow into the harbour near Frank Kitts Park.

Overflow into the harbour has now been reduced, as crews work to fix the pipe.

There are partial road closures on Salamanca Road, as well as on Willis, Ghuznee and Dixon Streets.

Vivian Street is also due to be closed between 8pm and 8am each day through to Friday for investigation works to take place.
