    Dunedin police are appealing for information - after a couple were assaulted on their walk home


    The incident took place on Saturday - December 14.

    Police say a couple in their twenties were followed home from a George Street fast-food restaurant by two men - after an altercation inside.

    The male victim was then approached by the men and knocked unconscious.

    Police say the victim's continuing to suffer headaches.

    They urge anyone who might have any information to please get in touch.
