    Kiwi tennis number one Paige Hourigan has been granted a main draw wildcard into the ASB women's tennis Classic


    The world number 438 has just completed her first full year as a professional.

    She reached the doubles final of the ASB Classic last year and returned home after a year on the circuit to win the New Zealand Nationals in early December.

    Fellow New Zealanders Erin Routliffe and Valentina Ivanov have been granted a wildcard to the qualifying draw.

    The other qualifying wildcards have gone to American Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Australian Arina Rodionova.
