A reprieve looks to be in store for firefighters in New South Wales in the coming week

Dangerous conditions were predicted last night with a gusty southerly change fanning the flames.
New South Wales rural fire service commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons says over the coming week there's a chance for more showers and benign conditions.
He says that'll allow firefighters to shore up their containment lines.
However he says there'll be plenty attention paid today to the fire activity and spread which took place overnight.
