    State Highway One is open again after a vehicle transporting prisoners crashed north of Taupo


    The Department of Corrections says there's no threat to public safety, after the crash at Atiamuri - which injured four.

    It says there were two staff members and four prisoners in the vehicle.

    The inmates were being moved between Rimutaka Prison and Spring Hill Corrections Facility.
