Auckland Tuatara hope weather helps to allow Australian Baseball League series match against Cavalry this weekend

The Auckland Tuatara hope the weather does it's part so they can play ball ahead of their Australian Baseball League series with the Cavalry in Canberra this weekend

Poor air quality is forecast around Canberra as a result of the New South Wales bushfires, which could cancel games.

The Tuatara are top of the Northeast conference with a 19 win, 13 loss record.

Manager Steve Mintz says no games could be detrimental for momentum at an important part of the season.

Game one starts at 9pm tonight.
