The City Council says over the weekend three macrocarpa benches were stolen from Sunday Hole - the second theft in two months.
A week earlier, the 125-year-old Priapos Fountain statue in Queens Gardens was kicked until it cracked.
Sport and Recreation chair Councillor Tim Skinner says it's extremely frustrating for council staff - and the items are paid for with ratepayer money.
He says anyone with information should get in touch with police.
