Amy Schumer's ex-boyfriend is living with her and her husband

The 38-year-old comedienne may be happily married to Chris Fischer with an eight-month-old baby called Gene, but she didn't want to see her former flame Kyle Dunnigan out on the streets while they were working on her upcoming Hulu show, so she offered to put him up at her New York apartment for a while

Speaking on 'The Howard Stern Show' on Wednesday (22.01.20), Kyle, 49, said that he and Amy had a "moment there" but it was "a while ago and it was brief."

He added: "I've been there [at her apartment] for a month and a half."

Kyle even has his own room and bathroom and doesn't have to pay for the food.

He explained: "She's been very cool. All the food is really good and free."

And, despite their romantic history, Kyle doesn't find it awkward around Amy's husband as the pair actually get along really well and even play chess together.

    He added: "We bro out."

The comedian is enjoying his stay so much that he's thinking about extending.

He joked: "I'm supposed to leave in three weeks, but I don't think I'm gonna."

Meanwhile, the 'I Feel Pretty' star is currently going through IVF treatment in the hope of giving little Gene a brother or sister in the near future.

Alongside a picture of her stomach - which is heavily bruised - Amy wrote on Instagram recently: "I'm a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional. If anyone went through it and if you have any advice or wouldn't mind sharing your experience with me please do. My number is in my bio. We are freezing my eggs and figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling. (sic)"

Amy struggled with her first pregnancy, as she battled Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) - severe nausea that results in weight loss and dehydration - throughout the nine months, and opted to undergo a Cesarean section to deliver her tot.

However, because Amy also suffers from endometriosis - in which tissue from the uterus grows outside of it - the process of delivering Gene went on for three hours.

She said previously: "Even through the birthing centre has an operating room and doctors at the ready ... my instincts were just like, no. I want to go back to Manhattan. I was throwing up through the whole first hour of my C-section.

"It's supposed to take about an hour and a half or something but mine took over three hours because of my endometriosis."
