The Rental Vehicles Public Forum kicks off this evening - aiming to address community concern over inexperienced or unsuitable rental car drivers.
Five panellists will answer questions, including representatives of Police, NZTA and the Rental Vehicle Association.
Queenstown mayor, Jim Boult, says he's deeply concerned by recent accidents resulting from poor driving.
But he wants to hear good suggestions for resolving the problem, not just more stories of bad behaviour.
