The 63-year-old, who owns Headquarters in the Viaduct, pleaded not guilty in the Auckland District Court today.
Molloy is the first person to be charged by New Zealand police after allegations of numerous suppression breaches before and after last November's high-profile trial.
He's due to reappear in court in May.
