Saracens' Champions Cup defence could be under threat after it emerged that prop Titi Lamositele may have been ineligible to play against Racing 92 last month

Saracens' Champions Cup defence could be under threat after it emerged that prop Titi Lamositele may have been ineligible to play against Racing 92 last month

The European champions are subject to a misconduct complaint after tournament organisers were informed by Sarries that the United States international work permit expired the day before the match.

A hearing is underway in London, which could result in the defending English and European champions losing their place in the quarter-finals.

The north-London club was last month relegated from the English league for breaching salary-cap regulations.
