The Black Caps have taken victory and the ODI series against India.

New Zealand secured the second one day cricket international by 22 runs at Eden Park.

Sam Clark has won the men's Coast to Coast for a fourth time.

He's beaten defending champion Dougal Allan by less than ten minutes.

Valentina Ivanov and Paige Hourigan have notched up singles wins to help New Zealand earn promotion to Asia Oceania Group 1 in tennis's Federation Cup.

New Zealand has taken an unassailable 2-nil lead in the promotional playoff against the Philippines in Wellington.

Hourigan says they've achieved their goal.
