Sir Peter Jackson's Weta Group receives more than 40-million dollars each year from the taxpayer

The Herald's reporting Sir Peter's businesses receive the lion's share of work generated by incentives to lure international film productions to New Zealand.
Total payments made under the Screen Production Grant between August 2015 and April 2018 amounted to over 260-million dollars.
More than 117 million of that went to support the Weta Group - which includes both Weta Workshop and Weta Digital.
