A warning for Vodafone New Zealand over misleading consumers about account credits

Despite telling customers it would apply certain credits to their accounts on a monthly basis, Vodafone issued invoices without the agreed credits.
The telco's also been warned about misleading customers with representations made in a loyalty discount promotion.
Commerce Commission chair Anna Rawlings says businesses need to ensure customers are charged the correct amount, or receive the agreed benefit.
She says in the commission's view, Vodafone's conduct likely breached the Fair Trading Act.
