    One person has died in a serious crash on Southland's Winton Lorneville Highway


    Emergency services responded after a van rolled near Gap Road West at around 4.45 this morning.

    Other passengers are reporter to have suffered serious to moderate injuries.

    The road is closed with diversions set in place - and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
