Auckland Transport is confident bus users won't be overly burdened by new route changes

Auckland Transport is confident bus users won't be overly burdened by new route changes

A key intersection in the city's CBD is being closed for City Rail Link construction - so most bus routes will be different from today.

700 buses typically cross through Wellesley Street, Albert Street and Mayoral Drive every day.

CBD road work has stirred tensions among commuters - but AT's John Nottage hopes people will understand.

He says the city is undergoing unprecedented change and transformation, but asks commuters to bear with them, and re-look at their travel options.
