The vaping industry is to face a major crackdown, including curbs on advertising and sponsorship

The vaping industry is to face a major crackdown, including curbs on advertising and sponsorship

The Government will introduce legislation to Parliament tomorrow.

It includes a ban on selling to under-18-year-olds, and no advertising of vaping or smokeless tobacco products.

Most flavours will be restricted to specialty stores.

Associate Health Minister Jenny Salesa says it's time for action.

She says there are a lot of social media ads out there - and it's time for action.
