A lot of silver linings but no silver bullet to end the drought

WeatherWatch head forecaster Philip Duncan says most of the country saw rain that ranged from a few millimetres up to about 15, yesterday.
He says more showers are bubbling up over the next week or two.
Duncan says there are signs the drought might end in some areas with a death by a million cuts.
He says rather than one big rainmaker - week after week of showers could help to turn things around.
