Team New Zealand has been excluded from a meeting between the America's Cup syndicates over the future of the World Series event in Cagliari next month

Team New Zealand has been excluded from a meeting between the America's Cup syndicates over the future of the World Series event in Cagliari next month

The syndicates have held talks this morning with concerns mounting the event in Italy won't go ahead because of the coronavirus which is rampant in the country.

All Sports events have been postponed in Italy until early April and the country is in total lockdown.

Team Ineos, Challenger of Record Luna Rossa and American Magic have held talks today over the future of the event, but Team New Zealand has released a statement saying they weren't invited.

It's becoming apparent the challenger of record Luna Rossa and Team New Zealand are not on good terms.
