    America's two biggest motor racing series have pulled the plug on events this weekend


    IndyCar has cancelled this weekend's opening race at St. Petersburg, and also suspended their season through to the end of April due to the virus.

    NASCAR has called off tomorrow's race in Atlanta as well as next weekend's event at Homestead-Miami.

    Both NASCAR events were set to go ahead with no spectators.
