From 1 tomorrow morning, all incoming travellers, except those from the Pacific Islands, will be required to self-isolate for two weeks.
Auckland Airport Chief Executive Adrian Littlewood says the uncertain nature of the outbreak is making it all the more difficult.
Mr Littlewood says people should expect delays and allow more time for their trip.
Auckland airport is still working to understand any further changes to the flight schedule with each airline coordinating their own plan.
