A trans-Tasman exchange for Australian Brenton Tarrant, who's pleaded guilty to last year's Christchurch mosque attacks remains a possibility

A trans-Tasman exchange for Australian Brenton Tarrant, who's pleaded guilty to last year's Christchurch mosque attacks remains a possibility

There is no legal framework for a transfer but Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has left open the possibility Tarrant could be sent home to Australia to serve his term.

Sentencing for Tarrant is unlikely to take place for some time.
