A man's been arrested trying to scale the Christchurch Justice Precinct building

A man's been arrested trying to scale the Christchurch Justice Precinct building

Police say about 10am an employee alerted officers to a man attempting to jump the gate on the Lichfield Street side of the building.

They say he made it to the top of a wall - but wasn't able to enter the precinct.

Police say instead the 26-year-old was promptly taken into custody - and will appear in court this afternoon.
