While supermarkets are thriving, New Zealand's travel sector's taking a hit

Paymark has seen up to a 72-per cent drop below year-ago levels across the first week of the level-4 lockdown.

Tourism companies and hotels are feeling it most, with many having to repay customers.

Travel companies, entertainment firms and parking services have all seen negative payments in the first four days of level-4 restrictions.
