A keen eye's being put on construction to build up the economy

A keen eye's being put on construction to build up the economy

The Government's unveiled a group to seek out new infrastructure projects that are good to go as soon as Covid-19 is dealt with.

The Infrastructure Industry Reference Group will look for projects that can start within six months after the pandemic, in addition to already government-funded projects.

Infrastructure Minister Shane Jones says everything is on the table to get through the impacts of the pandemic.

He says the days are over of thinking business can just go back to normal when 300-thousand people are out of work.
