    One person is in custody and facing driving charges following a single-car crash in Christchurch this afternoon


    Police officers were following a vehicle driving dangerously on Greers Rd around 2.30 when it hit a power pole and a fence.

    Two people were initially trapped and then pulled out of the vehicle, which caught fire.

    Debris from the crash struck a nearby person who had minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Ambulance.

    An occupant of the vehicle was also taken to hospital by Ambulance.
