Essential service providers need to be supporting New Zealanders who have reduced income due to Covid-19

15 social service organisations have sent an open letter to businesses asking them to continue to offer it's services without interruptions, waive penalty and late fees and pause any debt collection.

Christians Against Poverty CEO Aimee Mai says these companies need to play an important role in supporting their communities.

Ms Mai says we are a kind and compassionate nation and that's why they are asking these money lenders to be kind during these times.
