Legal arguments claiming the Alert Level Four lockdown is unlawful - have been heard at the High Court in Auckland

Jacinda Ardern wasn't in court for the write of habeas corpus- and was virtually represented by Crown lawyers.
Two applicants brought the writ against the Prime Minister - arguing the lockdown's unlawful and politically motivated.
They also say the economic impact isn't worth the economic cost compared to the low number of Covid-19 deaths, and that the lockdown should only apply to certain persons.
Justice Mary Peters has reserved her decision.
