Three of tennis' greatest players have been in talks to discuss ways to assist lower-ranked players during the coronavirus outbreak

Novak Djokovic has initiated discussions with fellow ATP Player Council members Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Djokovic says the majority of players ranked between 250 and a thousand don't have federation support or sponsors, and depend solely on tournament winnings which they can't currently earn.

The Serbian world number one says players will hopefully contribute collectively to the relief fund that the ATP will distribute using specific criteria.
