University volunteers are checking up on Dunedin students - to see how they are coping with lockdown

A University of Otago team has contacted just over fifteen hundred students by email - and more than three hundred seventy by phone.
University emergency coordinator Andrew Ferguson says it can be a difficult time for students who are alone or away from home.
Ferguson says some of them are in good spirits - but others aren't coping.
