    Kiwi cyclist Eddie Dawkins is reflecting on his first world championship gold medal as he calls time on his career


    Dawkins has decided the delayed Olympics next year in Tokyo would be too hard for him to peak for.

    He bows out with an Olympic silver medal and three World Championship golds.

    He says the first gold in Colombia in 2014 with his teammates Sam Webster and Ethan Mitchell stands out as the culmination of hard work.
