Hidden behind a tower of shipping containers - 216 Madras Street is one of the "dirty thirty" - a list of 30 CBD buildings Christchurch City Council says is hampering the rebuild.
It's due to be demolished to make way for the city's new multi-use stadium.
But Land Information NZ - which manages the site - say it's running behind schedule.
A spokesperson says demolition has been slightly delayed due to Covid-19 - as they were unable to complete a site assessment before Alert Level 4.
