Some District Health Boards are relaxing their rules around visiting family in hospital

For most inpatient areas at Christchurch Hospital - one nominated person from a patient's 'bubble' can now visit once a day for the duration of a patient's stay.
But Burwood Hospital - and other elder care facilities - still have no visiting in most wards.
Visitors are still not allowed in high risk or isolation areas - but exceptions can be made on compassionate grounds for end of life care patients who don't have Covid-19.
Women in labour are allowed two support people - or one if they're having an elective caesarian.
