A Dunedin Councillor's been caught with no trousers - and a feather duster - at a Council Zoom meeting

A Dunedin Councillor's been caught with no trousers - and a feather duster - at a Council Zoom meeting

During the Council's annual plan hearings - former Labour Cabinet Minister David Benson-Pope entered the room in shorts carrying a colourful duster to sweep off his chair.

Benson-Pope told the Otago Daily Times he was caught with his pants down.

But he says his gardening shorts were just hidden by the jacket he'd put on for the meeting.

Benson-Pope says it's a good reminder to make sure your camera is turned off when working from home.
